Powerful natural methods to combat free radicals which cause cancer

Essentially Cancer and Degenerative Diseases are to major extent caused by damage done to our DNA by Free Radicals

Free radicals:  When life forms on Earth changed from using anaerobic sources of energy to using Oxygen, we paid a big price in terms of toxic byproducts called Free Radicals.  All of these can cause severe cellular and DNA damage, especially the Hydroxyl (OH) radical.  The result is premature aging, damage to collagen in the skin, inflammations, ischaemia, hypoxia, cataracts, retinopathy, arthritis, allergies, Auto-immune diseases, heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, Cancers and damage to Telomeres.  The other free radicals are Superoxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Oxygen molecule, Nitric Oxide, and 6 others.  The production of Free Radicals is hastened by radiation, ultraviolet light, bacterial & viral toxins, smoking, alcohol, exercise, and psychological/emotional stress.

Viruses:   After the cells are damaged by free radicals, then viruses and bacteris are free to move in to attack. Prudent management would be to include an antiviral program, among which some Alternative Medicine literature and professionals recommend  Colloidal Silver (atoms not ions),  PRESCHIUS antioxidant powder

Anti-oxidants:  Of all the natural endogenous mechanisms for anti-oxidation, Melatonin is the most powerful, followed by Glutathione uric acid, catalase and superoxide dismutase(SOD).  For the most part our anti-oxidation has to be supported by external, exogenous antioxidant molecules such as Vitamins A, C & E, Lipoic acid, Vit Q-10, Pycnogenol, Selenium, beta-carotene, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Manganese, Chromium, DMSO, and possibly Colloidal Silver and Gold atoms (not ions).

PRESCHIS antioxidant:  This is a stable, dry hydrogen-based source of free electrons when mixed with water with far stronger anti-oxidant properties than any other known anti-oxidant. All antioxidants of biological usefulness release only one electron per molecule, while PRESCHIS antioxidant releases many (approximately 60).  PRESCHIS antioxidant’s main power is in recharging these metabolisable antioxidant molecules especially Melatonin and Vitamin C & E, so that they can be used over and over again without having to be destroyed, excreted and lost.

Ellagic Acid may be the most potent way to prevent cancer, inhibit the growth of cancer cells, and arrest the growth of cancer in persons with a genetic predisposition for cancer and even help bolster the Immune System and prevent Heart Disease

[Editor's Note: Nine years ago researchers began studying the simple raspberry to ascertain if it had any therapeutic benefits. What they discovered amazed scientists around the world and gave millions of cancer sufferers new hope. This discovery made and is currently making nutritional history.]

The Hollins Cancer Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina, after extensive laboratory and clinical tests, has released a study by Dr. Daniel Nixon, which indicates that raspberry-derived Ellagic Acid may be the most potent way to prevent cancer, inhibit the growth of cancer cells, and arrest the growth of cancer in persons with a genetic predisposition for cancer. Furthermore, due to its antioxidant properties this same constituent can help to boost the immune system and protect the body from free radical attack (also known as oxidation).

Studied since 1993 by universities around the world, Ellagic Acid has been demonstrated to inhibit mitosis (the process by which cancer cells divide.) Furthermore, this 100% natural substance protects against the destruction of the P53 gene (the body's natural), which, according to researchers from the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center is believed to safeguard against cervical, lung, prostate, and possibly all other cancers. The use of Ellagic Acid has also revealed similar results in Breast, Prostate, Pancreatic, Esophageal, Leukemia, Skin, and Colon cancers.

Healthy brew

IF YOU want to avoid heart disease, cancer and cataracts, drink tea. That's the message from British researchers who have studied the health-giving potential of nine beneficial substances in black tea. Known as flavonols, these chemicals mop up oxidising agents which can otherwise damage the body's tissues.

Earlier this year, Michael Graziano and his colleagues at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston found in a study of 680 people that those who drank black tea had a 44 per cent reduction in the risk of heart attack compared to non-tea drinkers (American Journal of Epidemiology, vol 149, p 162).

Now, Gary Williamson, Geoff Plumb and Keith Price of the Institute of Food Research in Norwich have probed some of the flavonols that might explain these effects. They studied six common varieties, including Lapsang Souchong, Assam and Darjeeling, and found that all are rich sources of flavonols. "Tea is the best source of these compounds in the British diet," says Williamson.

The nine flavonols investigated by the Norwich team are all chemically related to either quercitin or kaempferol, substances that protect tea plants from injury and infection.

To gauge their potency as antioxidants, the researchers measured each flavonol's capacity to prevent oxidation of standard test compounds. In the journal Redox Report (vol 4, p 13) they say that the five most potent antioxidants are variants of quercitin. Each carried between one and three sugar units—and the fewer the sugars, the better the antioxidant activity.
