Design
Our electronic ionizers and electronic softeners are designed by Canadian biomedical engineers and made in Ontario, Canada.
Consistency
Because water supply, quality, pH and TDS can vary widely from state to state, we have built in feedback control on the important control parameters like electrical current. When the user selects a specific level, that level is maintained regardless of variations in water purity, conductivity or dissolved salts. This means that the correct level is maintained no matter what changes may occur in water quality, pressure or flow rate.
Durability
Our ionizers have a self-cleaning alternating polarity cycling feature which cleans the cathode electrode on each cycle (also called double action reverse cleaning system). The electric field within the compartment is inverted to ensure that any minerals that have become actively attached to a plate are repulsed and expelled from the unit. This feature removes any scale from the electronic cell helping to make sure the ionizer stays in top working condition and system helps to prolong the life of the ionizer. In areas of very hard water, we recommend installing our electronic softener descaler.
Health Maintenance
Distilled or Reverse Osmosis Water has been stripped of its natural minerals and is unhealthy to drink in large quantities. Not only is it no longer a source of minerals but it also it leaches out these precious minerals from our bodies. Such waters should be remineralized by adding essential ions like zinc, magnesium, silica, calcium. We can provide zinc and magnesium electrodes to match our ionizers.
Performance
Our ionizers are powered by short-circuit proofed, switching, internationally approved power supplies having electrical isolation from the power line of over 2500 volts. Lightning protection prevents electrical surges from damaging the internal circuits.
Ease of Use
The front panel control knob allows the user to program any desired level of electrical current going through the electrodes into the water. Higher current will produce more ions and higher concentration (parts per million) but with the loss of some nanocrystalline quality, whereas lower current will give the best quality with lower ppm. Optimum performance is ensured by always changing the electrodes when they have diminished to unusable levels.
Ease of Installation
Our ionizers have plumbing connections with 2 inch (5 cm) threaded terminations portals. This permits removing the ionizer chamber simply by unscrewing a threaded plastic PVC insert which connects with the local plumbing and pumps. It can later be installed in another location. Instructions to non-plumbers for leakproof PVC cutting, cementing and threading are on our site.
Ease of Maintenance
There are no moving parts or hazardous chemicals to store, replace or buy. The copper and silver electrodes are intended to burn down and will last for many months depending on use. They are mounted on quick-connect plumbing adapters and are easily removed and replaced in a few seconds.
Application Notes
Our ionizers have been used in a wide variety of situations for purposes of purifying drinking water and beverages, preventing legionella in hospitals, protecting swimming pool, spa, fountain, lake water and disinfecting sewage water.
Technology
The electronic control circuit inside the ionizer is proprietary to our company and represents unique state-of-the–art electrochemical design for use with humans or animals such as horses, poultry, cattle, fish, birds. An indicator light or digital meter on the front panel of the ionizer directly represents the current going through the electrodes into the water and helps keeps your ionizer in top working condition.
